Earlier this month ATIS, one of the 3GPP's Organizational Partner, hosted a webinar on 'Introduction to 3GPP Release 19 and 6G Planning'. In the webinar, they provided a status update on Release 18, and a high-level summary of the timeline and planned content for 3GPP Release 19. It also included the status for the ongoing Release 19 study and work items. It concluded with an introduction of the preparation for 6G in 3GPP.
The webinar was moderated by Iain Sharp, Principal Technologist at ATIS and the speakers included:
- Wanshi Chen, Qualcomm, 3GPP RAN Plenary Chair
- Puneet Jain, Intel, 3GPP SA Plenary Chair
